PDI Honors, Awards, & Activities

Congratulations to PDI member Dan Cummins of Foley, Cognetti, Comerford, Cimini & Cummins in Scranton. His "Tort Talk" was recently selected by Lexis/Nexis as one of the 2011 top insurance law blogs in the United States! But there's more. Tort Talk has also been nominated as a candidate to be named one of the top 25 tort law blogs in the United States! Good luck, Dan!

PDI member Henry Sneath of Picadio, Sneath, Miller & Norton in Pittsburgh was installed as the Defense Research Institute's (DRI) 2011-2012 President at their recent Annual Meeting in Washington, D.C. His installation completes Henry's steady climb to become the leader of the nation's civil defense bar organization. PDI sponsored a reception in Henry's honor immediatly before his installation.

Pennsylvania Defense Institute (PDI) received the Rudolph A. Janata Award for Outstanding Defense Organization of 2011 at the Defense Research Institute's (DRI) recent Annual Meeting in Washington, D.C.

Marie Milie Jones of Jones Passodelis in Pittsburgh was recently awarded the St. Thomas More Sociery's highest honor given by the association of Catholic lawyers.
