DESCRIPTION:PDI Products Liability Committee Co-Chairs William J. (Bill) Ricci\, Esquire\, Ricci Tyrrell Johnson & Grey\, and C. Scott Toomey\, Esquire\, Littleton\, Joyce\, Ughetta\, Park & Kelly\, will moderate this initial roundtable discussion on November 1\, 2023 @ 12:00 P.M. and lead a discussion regarding the following topics: \n  \n\nThe protracted limbo of standards and regulations compliance evidence:  When will the Pennsylvania Supreme Court issue it’s decision and opinion in Sullivan v. Werner\, argued March 8\, 2023?  Or will they wait until the arrival of the 7th Justice? And What to do in the meantime.\nWhat does “unconstitutionally excessive” mean in the wake of (and rip tides) the Pennsylvania Supreme Court’s Bert v. Turk ruling?\nHow have U.S. District Court judges sitting in Pennsylvania products case dealing with these and other products issues?\n\n  \nThere will be an open microphone to allow all committee attendees to participate in the discussion and to share their thoughts\, concerns\, and questions on these topics or any other topic that may be of interest to the committee members. \n  \nAlso to be discussed is the need for articles and webinars to be presented by the substantive committees to share with the general membership and the opportunities available for committee members and/or members of their professional staff to become published in Counterpoint or to participate as a presenter in a PDI Lunch Time Webinar or possible live CLE presentation.
