Recently, a lively discussion took place on the PDI Listserv regarding the continued use of remote technology in the courtroom post-COVID. There appears to be strong opinions on both sides of this question. Denise M. Montgomery, Esquire, Sweeney & Sheehan, and Lisa R. Whisler, Esquire, Co-Chairs of the PDI Civil Practice and Procedures Committee have organized a CLE/Town Hall discussion concerning this topic. Please join Denise, Lisa and a panel with opinions on both sides of the issue for a brief presentation on the pros and cons of Remote Proceedings in the Courts followed by a spirited Town Hall discussion of the future of Court proceedings in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the discontinuance of the Proposed Rule 244, which recommended widespread use of ACT (Advanced Communication Technology) in Civil Courts.
Registration is required and attendees will receive 1 FREE CLE Substantive Credit.
